Tour Highlights: Upon your arrival in Ulaanbaatar ``Genghis Khan´´ New Airport (52 km /31.33 miles, 2 hrs driving, depending on the high traffic!), meet Samar Magic Tours team. First at all, we visit the Tonyukuk inscriptions of the 8th century, which are located in Tuul River Valley at 47°42′N 107°28′E (southeast of Ulaanbaatar and Nalaikh). Visit the 40-meter (~133, 3 feet) ``Genghis Khan´´ Equestrian Statue. Visit an small underground museum-has exhibitions relating to the Bronze Age and Xiongnu archaeological cultures in Mongolia, which show everyday utensils, belt buckles, knives, sacred animals, etc. and a second exhibition on the Great Khan period in the 13 and 14th centuries which has ancient tools, goldsmith subjects and some Nestorian crosses and rosaries. Visitors walk to the head of the horse through its chest and neck of the horse, where they can have a panoramic view. Drive to reach Gorkhi/Terelj National Park. Seeing grasslands and beautiful vistas. The valley is about 20kms/12miles long at 1600m. This picturesque National Park is a part of Khan Khentii Strictly Protected Area. It is a great place for hiking, trekking, even you can rock climb here at its natural steep granite walls. Explore the Turtle shaped original giant rock. Enjoy walking & hiking to Arryabal Meditation Temple on the top of the small hill. Next, drive towards west to the Authentic Mongol Nomad Show (from 10:00AM-12:00M, about 35-40km/25miles, 1.30 hrs)-It demonstrates traditional living way of real Mongolian nomads and breeding and using of five kinds of livestock and movement from one place to another using ox, yak, camel and horse carts which are the carts. Here you will have the opportunity to hear a Mongolian folk song, to see 5 herding animals, to observe the demonstration of catching and milking sheep, goat, to observe the demonstration of making dairy products. Explore Hustain Nuruu Wild Horses National Park (hustai is Mongolian for birch and nuruu means mountains) measures about 57,000 hectares, or including the buffer zone 120.000 ha., and is located on about 120kms/62 miles west from the capital Ulaanbaatar. The flagship species for the Hustain Nuruu Nature Reserve is the reintroduced Przewalski or takhi horse. Currently the park is home to a hundred fifty specimens. Journey to Karakorum-the Genghis (Chinggis) Khan's 13th century capital and heart of the mighty Mongolian Empire and in the UNESCO World Heritage Orkhon Valley. Its ruins lie in the northwestern corner of the Ovorkhangai Province of Mongolia, near today's town of Karakorum, and adjacent to the Erdene Zuu monastery. Next, departure in the direction of the Turkish Memorial Museum (Khushuu Tsaidam) in the Orkhon River Valley, erected in honor of the Turkish princes of the early 8th century Bilge Khan and Kul Tigin with their Orkhon inscriptions, which are admitted as the most impressive monuments of the nomads of the Gokturk Empire. The Bilge Qaghan and Kul Tigin monuments were found in the UNESCO World Heritage Site of the Orkhon Valley Cultural Landscape, northwest of Kharkhorin (Karakorum). The museum was built in cooperation with the Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency in 2008. For better conservation of the monuments, they were brought to the museum and copies of them were placed in the places where they were originally found. Journey to Lake Ugii, an appropriate place for birds such as: swans, geese, cranes, ducks, pigeons, storks and other migratory species are cited in this area at the end of April, May and throughout the summer). Lake Ugii is located in the province of Uvurkhangai, where many migratory birds arrive at certain times of the year due to the abundance of fish. It is of great importance as a breeding and stopping place for waterfowl, for example, the white-necked crane (Grus vipio), the swan goose (Anser cygnoides), the great bustard (Otis tarda), the duck (Oxyura leucocephala), cranes common (Grus Grus), demoiselle cranes (Anthropoides virgo), black storks  (Ciconia nigra), and species declared vulnerable or endangered in the Red Book. We will be able to admire and photograph a great variety of species such as the White-necked Crane and the Monk Crane surrounded by a beautiful valley where herds of sheep, horses, bulls, and yaks graze. Over 200 species of birds have been recorded at Lake Ugii, and where there are so many fish there are sure to be plenty of waterfowl; black-tailed godwit; Swan goose; Great Crested Grebe; whooper swan; Bar-headed goose; Rudy Shelduck; common goldeneye; Common Crane; and Northern Lapwing. Migratory birds arrive from May to June, from as far away as Siberia and the Himalayas. Ornithological observation. Next, departure to explore Elsen Tasarkhai (also known as Bayangobi desert)- is a part of the 80kms/50 miles long Mongol Els Sand Dunes and is located on about 280kms/169miles west from the capital Ulaanbaatar. The nature in this area is really spectacular and great for relaxing. During the trip, you will also have opportunities to ride two-humped Bactrian camel, and walk on sand dunes.
